Italian Bending Poplar

Italian Bending Poplar, also known as wiggle wood, is a bending plywood often used in cabinet applications, fixtures, stairways and curved furniture; the uni-directional plies allow it to be bent to follow curves. Italian bending poplar comes in a thickness of 3mm is an extremely lightweight formable panel that is white in color. Available in both 4×8 and 8×4 grain direction, the panel is commonly used to overlay curved applications or laminated to create a curved panel of various thicknesses. It’s light weight and near lack of core voids also make it popular in boat and RV interiors.
